The main SEWWUG meeting is held the first Wednesday of the month from 7 to 9 P.M. in the Community Room of the Brookfield Public Library located at 1900 N. Calhoun Road in Brookfield, Wisconsin 53005. The room opens at 6:30 if you would like to come early and mingle.
The Windows Special Interest Group (SIG) supports members with questions regarding computer applications running under all Windows operating systems. The meeting format usually includes a presentation of a Windows application. A laptop computer used with a projector allows members to view "live" computer operations. A WI-FI network is available. The meeting schedule is 10:00 a.m. to noon on the second Saturday following the Main (Library) Meeting of each month in Room 321 at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital, 19333 W. North Avenue, Brookfield, Wisconsin 53045. You may enter the hospital's main entrance (3rd Floor) and walk straight ahead and turn left before the elevators. Parking: see photo below.
The CMOS Special Interest Group (SIG) deals with all levels of computer knowledge, but frequently deals with more advanced questions or problems than discussed at the monthly general meetings. The program format is usually open discussion with occasional informal presentations. Computer operation is projected for all to see. A WI-FI network is available. Hand-helds and tablets are also discussed. The meeting schedule is 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month also in Room 321 at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital.
